The ONE4ALL project aims to promote the transformation of production facilities, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), towards Industry 5.0 (I5.0), strengthening their resilience in the face of unforeseen changes. This objective will be achieved through the development of reconfigurable plug-and-produce cyber-physical production modules (RCPM), consisting of collaborative and self-configuring mobile robots, incorporating IIoT devices for real-time monitoring and interconnectivity. The physical modules and processes will be digitally replicated through data-driven digital twins and controlled by an artificial intelligence system.
An open-source approach will be ensured throughout the project to facilitate interoperability of components. An adaptive training program for digital up-skilling will be identified to prepare the workforce for the transition towards Industry 5.0 and fully leverage the potential of the developed technologies.
The potential of ONE4ALL will be demonstrated in two relevant cases from different sectors (agri-food and pharmaceutical), both heavily influenced by market and social disruptions.
CRIT will collaborate with project partners in carrying out various activities, particularly taking the lead role in use cases management and evaluation, dissemination and communication of results, and standardization of the developed methodology.
