Usability and Ergonomics applied to IMA user interfaces
Fri 20 Mar 2015
Event description
CRIT has organized a work table, addressed to the CRIT associated companies, aimed at continuing the activities on the theme “methodologies and tools for the development of man-machine interfaces”. This appointment follows a series of initiatives carried out by CRIT in 2014 that have stimulated the comparison favoring an interesting exchange of experiences.
In 2014, an international training course on User Experience Design for the industry was implemented; The course, developed in collaboration with NiEW Design, a company belonging to the CRIT Endorsed Suppliers Network specializing in the design of user interfaces in B2B and industry contexts, allowed participants to explore some concepts such as the usability and ergonomics of the interface, fundamental aspects to design and optimize the HMIs of their machines.
The purpose of the meeting is to understand how to apply these concepts to the development of new human-machine interfaces with a focus on usability in an industrial context. For the occasion, some user interfaces provided by IMA will be used as a case study. The IMA case will be analyzed and presented to the participants.
During the day, space will be given to questions and discussion among the participants.
