Meeting of the CRIT Technical Scientific Committee

The CTS – Technical Scientific Committee – is composed of all the Technical / R & D Directors of the CRIT Member Companies. It is the body that directs, evaluates and validates the collaborative activities of the CRIT. It meets 3 times a year, normally at a partner company.

Thursday 04 July the meeting will be hosted by Alstom The meeting is reserved for the Technical Director of CRIT associated companies.

The event will allow CRIT members to get to approach ALSTOM closely, who will share how to innovate and share some of the main initiatives currently being carried out.

The meeting will conclude with the intervention of Prof. Alessandra Costanzo, on the present and future of wireless power transmission. Prof. Costanzo studies and develops systems for wireless power transmission (WPT) adopting both near-field and far-field techniques for different operating frequencies and different power levels. She is past chair of the IEEE MTT-26 “Wireless energy transfer and conversion” technical committee, co-founder of the COST EU IC1301 WiPE: Wireless Power transmission for sustainable Electronics. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, and Associate Editor of the IEEE Transaction on Microwave Theory and Techniques.
