Artificial Intelligence: a tailor-made course blending theory and practice
Organization and management of a personalized theoretical-practical course dedicated to AI technologies. Selection and engagement of high-quality tutors. Development and organization of final tests to assess acquired knowledge
To meet the company’s needs, an online course was organized, spread over six half-days and structured into three modules:
- A theoretical module dedicated to delving into the mathematical and engineering foundations of AI methodologies.
- A practical module focused on data analysis and the use of Microsoft PowerBI software.
- A practical module centered around AI algorithm programming using Python.
Each module spanned two half-days of the course, and the practical modules (with a limited number of participants to ensure high-quality teaching) were repeated for a total of four half-days each.
At the end of the program, exams were conducted to assess the knowledge acquired by employees for each module, employing various methods depending on the chosen path.
The training activities offered by CRIT to its member companies are characterized by a high degree of customization. Each course is designed to meet the specific needs of the involved companies, identifying the most suitable tutors and structuring activities to provide company technicians with the most practical tools for their training.
CRIT has devised the structure of the activities and identified the most suitable instructors based on direct consultation with the client. The activity was structured into 3 modules (one theoretical and two practical), delivered online in 2 half-days each, with the aim of providing a comprehensive overview of the fundamental tools for the development of industrial AI applications.
The theoretical module, delivered by CRIT industry experts, introduced the main topics related to the world of AI, from big data to use cases, decision systems, data analysis, and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms.
The theoretical knowledge acquired in the first module enabled course participants to tackle the subsequent practical modules, managed by CRIT’s excellent partners in the AI field. These practical modules allowed for a deeper dive into both data visualization aspects (“PowerBI” module) and algorithmic implementation of ML (“Python” module).
Course participants could choose to attend both practical modules or select only the one most aligned with their interests and suitable for their professional path.
Based on the chosen path, each participant received feedback on the acquired skills by taking a final exam for each module. Upon achieving the required results, a participation certificate was issued to each participant.
